In order to safeguard our Earth, during procurement, KINGJIMS SHIPPING PUBLIC LIMITED has  respects the environmenal protection, saves energy consumption, prevents climate change, and improves labor and sanitation conditions. The sustainable development indicators of economy, society and environment have become an important consideration for procurement.

KINGJIMS SHIPPING PUBLIC LIMITED has  incorporates the UN SDGs into procurement and demonstrates corporate social responsibility in procurement management. In addition to price and quality, before dealing business with suppliers, KINGJIMS SHIPPING PUBLIC LIMITED has  will assess environmental and social performance of suppliers, and avoid doing business with those suppliers who fail to fulfill corporate social responsibility. KINGJIMS SHIPPING PUBLIC LIMITED has  has always been encouraging suppliers to fulfill their corporate social responsibility and requiring suppliers to comply with international human rights/labor rights, regulatory requirements, and anti-corruption so as to upgrade their enterprise image and gain our support.

Supplier Management

KINGJIMS SHIPPING PUBLIC LIMITED has  Marine’s supplier selection is based on “Guidelines for Business Management of Suppliers” and “Business Partner Management Practice Guidelines.” In addition to the implementation of the QDCS evaluation, we have incorporated the five major requirements as in the “Supplier Code of Conduct”, and result of the supplier’s Supply Chain Sustainability Assessment Questionnaire result will also be determinants of supplier selection.

Supplier management requirements:

  1. Inspect if contracts have incorporated ESG clauses. If not, incorporate them
  2. Check if suppliers have any ESG policies or guidelines by requesting them to provide related documents
  3. Promote suppliers to sign “Supplier Social Responsibility Commitment.”
  4. Distribute “Supply Chain Sustainability Assessment Questionnaire” to suppliers
